I'm Back Again for 2005!
Hello world!
To everyone whose lives touched mine last year: Thank you.
My AWBC experience last year taught me the following things about myself:
- I'm much stronger than I think I am
- Asking for help isn't a sign of weakness
- Knowing yourself is the most valuable tool you have
- Sometimes you just have to be silly
- Sometimes you just have to move
- Sometimes you just have to be patient
- Sometimes you just have to let yourself cry
- Sometimes it's much better if you laugh
This year, I'm walking for each and every person who donated to my fundraising last year, every person I met while training, every person I met while walking, every hospital & program that received funds raised by the 2004 NYC walkers, and, of course, my friends and family.
And I still hate pink.
