Where Did the Time Go????
Wow.
Suddenly everything I've been working towards since January has come down to tomorrow.
Tomorrow is Event Eve, which is the official check-in/kick-off to the 2004 Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in New York City.
After I leave the office tomorrow, I'll head into NYC and downtown to meet my hotel buddies, register at check in, and get ready for Day-1.
I expect to be able to post some audio posts through the day, giving you a "roving-reporter"/"person on the street" type of experience of the weekend. At least until my cell phone dies.
For those of you who plan to head out to cheer, please dress appropriately. It's supposed to be in the low-70's and cloudy on Saturday . . . and in the mid-60's on Sunday. Which is great walking weather, but not so great standing around weather.
Thank you all for your support and encouragement over the past year. Without you, I don't think I would have kept going.
Please keep all the walkers and crew members in your thoughts and prayers. . . and know that you will be in ours.
