So Many Stories. . .

This was posted to the Avon Walk message board this week. All links have been added to the sidebar/links list at the right-hand side of this blog.

The National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund (NBCCF), which is supported by the Avon Foundation, is collecting breast cancer stories through its Stop Breast Cancer: Personal Stories, Public Action campaign! They wish to highlight people who have inadequate insurance or other hardships that impacted their access to quality care.

Personal stories are important because they provide insight into the broader U. S. health care crisis and help us identify strategies for improvement. NBCCF will prepare an analysis to present to policy makers that will include recommendations for the best approaches to achieving guaranteed access to quality care.

Perhaps your mother or sister, aunt, cousin, friend or colleague has something to share - whether the experience was bad or good! You can tell your story online at

You may also download additional campaign materials from this link as well.

If you prefer to receive materials by U. S. mail, please e-mail your mailing address to campaign@stopbreastcancer.org, or call toll free number at 1-800-622-2838 x579.

Thank you so much for supporting this campaign - it
can mean so much to each one of us!
