HAPPY NEW YEAR
This year's Avon Walk for Breast Cancer season kicks off on Saturday, with the Great Starts Party at the Museum of Television and Radio in NYC. I will be bringing my friend Danielle with me, in the hopes of getting her involved with the event and having another teammate for motivation.
If you're interested in signing up for the AWBC 2005, the NY event will take place over the weekend of October 1 & 2. You will need to train. You will need to fundraise. However, you're not alone. There are "get ready" walks posted all over the NY-NJ-CT area, so you'll have no trouble finding a training buddy nearby!
Here's to a GREAT start to 2005! Now get walking!
