Back in Business
Well, the past week I spent in the Wildwoods allowed me to rest AND train a great deal.
I put in a 6 + 6 on Sunday (6 miles in the morning, starting up at 9am, 6 later in the day to go back and observe some things I'd noticed during the morning walk. . . and to play a little skeeball) and at least a mile or two each day.
Walking everywhere allowed me the luxury of training without actually saying I'd done it. . . in total, I think I put in about 25 miles this week. =)
I also added stretching and yoga to my morning and evening routine, both to cool down afterwards and to ensure I didn't suffer any muscle soreness the following day. Get a basic yoga video and start practicing. Then put the poses together to work your muscles. . . aaaahh. =)
I'll be posting more NJ training walks as I figure out my schedule, so don't worry, I haven't forgotten about them. . .I've just been out of town.
