Update

Well, yesterday was a LONG day.

Mary went into surgery at about 8:30 yesterday morning, and we spoke with her breast surgeon at around noon. Everything for the first part of the surgery went fine.

The second part of the surgery, the reconstruction, was a little bit more complicated. When she got out at 3pm, the plastic surgeon said that everythgn was OK, but they'd keep her under observation for a while. . . then at about 4pm, he said he wasn't happy with the color of the flap on one side and advised her to go back in so he could check it out and make sure everything is OK.

She got out of the 2nd surgery at 7pm, and the cosmetic surgeon said that we'd wait and see.

I haven't heard anything from this morning yet, but I'll update as soon as I do.

Please continue to keep Mary in your thoughts and prayers through Sunday, to make sure that she will be OK.
