Clarification and Update:
Since I got the information a little botched, here's a clarification:
Mary, my step-mom, will be undergoing a double mastectomy and immediate reconstruction (using the TRAM flap procedure - that's like having a tummy-tuck to rebuild your breasts) on Wednesday, January 28th. She will not, however, have to face radiation and/or chemo at this time.
On the day of the surgery, please pray for Mary and . . .
- Dr. Jan Huston, her breast surgeon,
- Dr. Peter Hyans, her plastic surgeon,
and all of the staff at Overlook Hospital.
